NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov voiced the main methods by which Russia will try to intervene in the course of the presidential elections in Ukraine. It is reported by the press service of Turchinov.
According to him, the Russian side uses a wide range of hybrid technologies, such as cybernetic and information and propaganda. At the moment, the activation of agent networks, pro-Russian political projects and the media has already been recorded, and the terrorist threat is also growing.
«In the event of the inability to conduct a candidate convenient for the Russian Federation and the increasing influence of pro-Russian forces, the Kremlin will try in every way to compromise or disrupt the electoral process, which could significantly destabilize the situation in our state,» the secretary of the NSDC said.
Turchinov also stressed that the security forces will act exclusively within the framework of the legislation, but will oppose in any way possible any attempts to disrupt the elections.
