The people’s deputy from «Servants of the people» Alexander Tkachenko is already preparing for the mayoral election in Kiev, reports «theBabel».
The deputy from the «Servant of the people» Alexander Tkachenko does not exclude that he will participate in the next mayoral elections in Kiev. He said this to theBabel, which the publication announced on November 11th.
“More likely than not,” Tkachenko answered the question of whether he would run.
According to «theBabel», the people’s deputy is already preparing for the election.
At the same time, the sources of the publication in the team of the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said that it was Klitschko who proposed to select candidates for the heads of the district administrations of Kiev who are going to introduce according to the new bill on the capital.
The Office of the President of Ukraine fears that Tkachenko will «take revenge on the president» Vladimir Zelensky if he is not appointed head of the Kiev City State Administration (KSCA), claims theBabel. For this, the people’s deputy allegedly can use the resources of the media holding «1 + 1», which he headed before leaving for politics.
The next mayoral election in Kiev should be held in October 2020. After the presidential and parliamentary elections of 2019, the Servant of the People party announced their intention to hold early local elections, in particular in Kiev. But later abandoned this idea. First Deputy Head of the Servant of the People’s parliamentary faction, Alexander Kornienko, said local elections may be held in spring 2020.
