The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Igor Umansky is inaccessible to people’s deputies, said the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, people’s deputy from the «Servant of the People» Alexander Tkachenko. He stated that he would not vote for «their budget.»
People’s deputies of Ukraine do not understand the actions of the Cabinet of Ministers to reformat the state budget due to the spread of coronavirus infection.
The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada committee on humanitarian and information policy, the people’s deputy from the «Servant of the People» Alexander Tkachenko announced this on March 1 on the air of the 1 + 1 television channel.
«The big mystery is where the Minister of Finance of Ukraine [Igor Umansky] is located, because he is not accessible to both the heads of the committees and the profile chairmen of the committees … This is a big question for the current Minister of Finance, because what is happening now with the budget raises indignation of many deputies, including those from the pro-government fraction … We currently do not understand what the Cabinet is doing, «he said.
According to the people’s deputy, the government «has no cooperation» with parliament.
«This is not the case when, under the guise of coronavirus conditions, one can neglect what can be done with the Ukrainian economy … The situation is too dangerous … We will not vote for their budget,» Tkachenko said.
