The ex-people’s deputy Lapin who fought in the Donbass in 2014 reported that he had been summoned for questioning by the SBU

The People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the previous convocation from the Popular Front faction, Igor Lapin, reported that he had been summoned for questioning by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Volyn Region about military operations in the Lugansk Airport area in 2014.

«Well, friends? SBU. We are probably starting a new stage in life. I’m going to the Ukrainian Security Service for questioning about the murdered peaceful Moscow citizens during the breaking of the blockade of the Lugansk Airport,» he wrote on his Facebook page on Monday, posting a selfie near buildings of the regional secret service.

As the Interfax-Ukraine agency was told in the SBU press center, in 2014 the police of the Luhansk region opened a production on the fact of events that took place in Ukraine-controlled territory with the qualification of «terrorist attack».

As explained in the security service, later the prosecutor referred the case for investigation to the SBU. «It was decided to interrogate all participants in those events as witnesses, including Lapin, in order to establish the circumstances of the incident,» the SBU said

In 2014, Lapin was the commander of the second company of the Aidar battalion with the call sign Zola. In the 2014 parliamentary elections, he was elected to people’s deputies in the district No. 22 of the Volyn region.
