At an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, people’s deputies will consider the law on the land market, and the “Servant of the People” faction has proposed an unprecedented compromise regarding it for all parliamentary factions, said People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” faction Nikita Poturaev.
«A consensus has been reached with most parliamentary factions regarding both of these laws — the banking law is the first, and the land law. There, our political team led by the president proposed an unprecedented compromise for all parliamentary factions. This compromise has already been agreed with our international partners,» — He said on the air of the program «Details of the week» on the channel «Inter» on Friday.
Poturaev explained that this provides that the land law will come into force in 9 months — from July 1, 2021. In addition, for 2 years after he earns, only individuals can buy land, and not more than 100 hectares in hand.
«And only after 2 years, in 2023, individuals will also be able to buy land, and then the concentration threshold will increase to the previously planned 10 thousand hectares,» he said.
Another compromise proposed by the party is that state land will not be transferred to communities and will not be the subject of sale.
Poturaev assured that the party «Servant of the People» has already received consent from the majority of parliamentary factions, and these laws should be voted at an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, their adoption will immediately begin cooperation with the IMF.
In addition, he said, the agenda for the extraordinary meeting will include a large block of issues aimed at overcoming the consequences of the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Also, amendments to bills will be considered that will allow Ukrainian doctors to more quickly treat patients, including with the use of drugs whose effectiveness has been experimentally proven worldwide, but which are not in the protocols.
Poturaev said that the meeting would not take place on Saturday, but «on one of the coming days after Saturday.»
