Ex-deputy disappeared from sight of law enforcement on December 5, 2019
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) put on the wanted list of the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Denis Dzenzersky from the Popular Front party. This is stated in the list of wanted persons on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reports RBC-Ukraine.
It is indicated that the ex-deputy disappeared from sight of law enforcement on December 5 last year.
He was suspected under Part 1 of Art. 366-1 (declaration of false information) of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure to Dzenzersky was not elected.
Recall, on November 19, 2019, Dzensersky was announced suspected of declaring false information for 2015-2018. According to the investigation, in order to hide information about his real property status, he did not declare outstanding financial obligations to banks worth more than 4.7 billion hryvnias.
Note that in February 2018, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption sent conclusions to the NABU based on the results of a full verification of Dzenzersky’s declarations. According to the agency, the former people’s deputy owed almost 5 billion hryvnia to banks.
