Specialists worked to protect personal data, he claims.Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov told how the creation of a “state in a smartphone” will begin
The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, announced that before April 1 of this year, Ukraine should switch to electronic medical records and directions.
On his Facebook page, the official noted that the eHealth system began to work 2.5 years ago. However, all this time to the system there were issues of protecting patient data.
«Today this problem has been solved. The eHealth system meets security standards, because it received a certificate of compliance with an integrated information security system,» said Fedorov in a post.
He added that before April 1, the Ministry is actively preparing for the implementation of the second stage of medical reform. Specialized care facilities should be connected to the eHealth system, and medical referrals and patient cards will become electronic.
“This will allow us to launch useful online services for citizens in the future. For example, the opportunity to choose a family doctor and conclude a declaration with the doctor online,” he concluded.
